Department of Dravyaguna and NSS unit of Karnataka Ayurveda Medical college A Unit of SCS group of Institution has jointly organised Vanamahotsava celebrations at Bhagini Samaja Ashrama, Jeppu Mangalore on 05/07/2021.
On this occasion administrator of Bhagini Samaja Smt Vijayalakshmi Bhat welcomed all the Doctors of our institution with floral greetings. Principal of the institute, Dr .Ravi Rao S address the gathering about the purpose of Vanamahotsava celebration and its importance in preventing the distortion of nature as well as air pollution. Awareness about medicinal plants was briefed by Dr Swapna Bhat HOD and Dr Sridevi Prof of department of Dravyaguna to the inmates of the ashram.
Vice Principal Dr Jacinta Meena Dsouza explained in brief about all the amenities available in Karnataka Ayurveda Medical Hospital. Many medicinal plants were planted by the faculties of Department of Dravyaguna and medicines were distributed on behalf of college. Dr Rachana distributed the sanitizer kit for all.
On this occasion faculties of Dravyaguna Dr Lakshmi Pai, Dr Srijaya V Prabhu, Dr Niyathi and NSS Programme Officer Dr Ajith Kamath M, Asst. NSS coordinator Dr Shruthi N Bhat were present in the event.
