On account of vaccine festival announced by the Government of India, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital in association with its NSS unit and Primary Health center, Kasba Bengre had organised Vaccine drive in their premises on 17th of September, 2021.
During the drive the beneficiaries were given with free doses of Covishield vaccine. On account of Charaka Jayanti celebrations, Department of Samhita Siddhantha of Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College, Mangalore in association with Government Ayurveda Research Center, Mysore and Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad, Anusandhana prakoshta had organized National Level Essay competition on the topic “Contribution of Charaka Samhita in Healthy Social Life” in the month of July 2021

On account of World Breastfeeding Week (August 1st to 7th) Dept of Kaumarabrithya, Karnataka Ayurveda Medical College A Unit of SCS group organized a Webinar on 04/08/2021 on the topic “Mathureva Pibet Sthanyam” (Exclusive Breastfeeding).
Dr Lakshmeesh Upadhya Medical Superintendent and Prof & HOD of dept of Kaumarabrithya , Yenepoya Ayurveda Medical College Mangalore was invited as Resource person for this event.
He enlightened the delegates about various benefits of breastfeeding and gave advises about alternatives of breast milk for working mothers
